Tim Murray

Tim brings his neurodiversity and wealth of experiences to Meticulon as IT Support Manager. He holds diplomas in Engineering and IT, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and is one year into a Masters of Adult Education.

 A natural mentor, Tim brings positive morale and open communication to every project, whether as a technical consultant, support, writer, or trainer.He loves tackling complex problems of all kinds, whether it be designing video games, writing music, or discussing neurodiversity. His true passion, however, is building opportunity and equality into the world around us.

How do I know if this is the right training opportunity for me?

Are you looking to enhance or refresh your understanding of digital tools for daily living and employment purposes? If so, completion of this program will demonstrateyour ability to:

- have an awareness of essential computer
hardware/equipment and basic troubleshooting;

- connect to and safely use the Internet;develop Word, Excel, and Google documents;

- apply for jobs online;

- use email to create and respond to communications;

- and,create social media profiles as a marketing tool. 

Note: to participate in this training, you must be connected to an employment agency that has successfully completed the Digital Literacy Instructor Certificate Program.  If you’re unsure, we invite you to book a discussion with our Enrollment Coordinator to further explore best fit.  You can schedule a time that works for you by emailing

How many weeks does it take to complete this certificate program?

This is an online 3-week program (3 modules) and will require a total of 30 hours to complete.

How many hours should I dedicate to this program each week?

We recommend allocating at least ten (10) hours per week. 

Where will the online training take place?

Online training will take place via CASE’s learning portal, called "Learn Worlds". Your login credentials will be emailed to you before the program is scheduled to begin.

How many hours should I dedicate to this program each week?

We recommend allocating at least five (5) hours per week. One (1) hour per week will be allocated to the weekly live webinar, while the remaining weekly commitments can be completed on your own time.

I require an accommodation. Who should I connect with?

Can I complete the program requirements on my own time?

While this program is primarily asynchronous, learners are required to attend the weekly live webinars and submit all weekly commitments by Sunday evening every week.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

In order to provide you with the best possible learning experience, we keep class sizes for Digital Literacy training small. Due to this limited seating, we request that if you must cancel, you do so at least 14 days before the scheduled start of the class to receive a full refund. If you must cancel with less than 14 days notice, we will do our best to fill your spot with another interested participant. If we are successful, we will reimburse you for your full registration fees. If we are not able to fill your spot, we will refund you 50% of your fees. We are not able to offer refunds for cancellations made after the course has begun.
